Cocoa has always been the "golden seed" of Latin America and it arrived in Florida through trade.

Due to climate change nowadays though, the cocoa tree can grow and thrive in Florida where you can find experimetal plantations. The effort began in 2010 and the first Floridian chocolate bars hit the selves in 2013.
